Art breathes life into a home but more importantly, it breathes life into our souls. Welcome to my colorful little corner of the internet. I'm honored you are here.

All the art you see here has been created by me. For many years I was in the world of Interior Design; designing home decor product for companies like Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma, as well as being an Interior Designer myself - designing restaurants and many beautiful homes. My favorite part of the design process was always painting the rooms as well as the creation of textiles and art.

Now I am taking a leap of faith, biggest leap ever, and for the first time in many, many years I am going all-in on being a full time artist. My New Collection is called 'Illuminate'. After going through a dark time with the loss of someone very special, I realized that life is too short to not follow your passion and give it all you've got. The lanterns in the paintings represent different aspects of ourselves. Through the process of creating this collection, I truly came out of the dark. I faced it all, learned from it, and chose to find joy again. It started with small acts of kindness; more yoga, more water, more meditation and more petting my cats.

I started to dream again in full color and patterns and beauty and when I woke, I blasted the music and painted what I saw.

I love this picture that Kirsti Kilpelainen took of me. I told her that I hope I die this way; paint brush in hand, surrounded by those I love, hopefully leaving this world a little more beautiful.
